Minnesota Vikings Injury Updates on Stephon Gilmore, Andrew Van Ginkel and more…

The Minnesota Vikings have provided updates on several key players dealing with injuries as they prepare for upcoming games. Cornerback Stephon Gilmore, who suffered a hamstring injury during the Week 13 win over the Arizona Cardinals, has been ruled out for the team’s Week 14 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell has expressed optimism about Gilmore’s recovery, noting that it is a low-grade injury and may not be long-term, though the team is taking a cautious approach.

Outside linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel is also dealing with a thigh injury and remains questionable for Week 14. He was limited during practice, though there is hope that he may still suit up for the game. The Vikings have also listed other players, including defensive lineman Harrison Phillips (back) and linebacker Patrick Jones II (knee), as questionable.

In addition to these injury concerns, the team is hopeful that kicker Will Reichard and long snapper Andrew DePaola, both returning from injured reserve, could be activated before the game, though their status remains uncertain. These updates leave the Vikings navigating a number of injury concerns as they head into a crucial stretch of the seas
